1Step 1 — Verify your matric number
Scroll to the verification box above and type your matric number exactly as given by the school (e.g. 2026020672). Tap “Verify My Details”.
2Step 2 — Confirm your details
The system will display your full name, matric number, department and email. Check carefully. If everything matches, tap “Yes, Generate My Code”. If anything is wrong, do NOT proceed — contact support immediately.
3Step 3 — Copy your registration code
Your personal registration code appears on screen (e.g. STU-00Ps5P2). Tap “Copy Code” and save it somewhere safe — screenshot it or write it down. Enter it exactly as shown (capital and small letters matter). This code is unique to you and cannot be used by anyone else.
4Step 4 — Create your OYSHIA account
Tap “Continue to OYSHIA Portal” to open the OYSHIA self-service portal. Tap “Create an account” and fill in your Legal First Name, Legal Surname, Email address and a password you will remember, then tap “CREATE ACCOUNT”.
5Step 5 — Verify your email and log in
Open your email inbox (check Spam/Junk too), open the verification email from OYSHIA and verify your email address. Then log in to the self-service portal with your email and password.
6Step 6 — Begin enrolment and enter your code
After logging in, click “Begin Enrolment” and choose “As A Group”. A dialog box will appear — select your school from the dropdown first, then enter your Registration Code (the STU-... code from Step 3) exactly as shown. Complete the enrolment form, review everything before submitting, and save or screenshot your confirmation receipt.
⚠️ Important tips for a successful registration
- Use a stable internet connection and an updated browser (Chrome recommended).
- Never share your registration code with anyone.
- During enrolment, select the correct school from the dropdown before entering your code.
- Double-check every field on the portal before submitting.
Frequently asked questions
My matric number was not found. What should I do?
First, check that you typed all digits correctly (e.g. 2026020672) with no spaces. If it still fails, your record may not have been uploaded yet — new batches of students are added regularly. Contact support with your full name, department and matric number.
The details shown are not mine / contain errors. What next?
Do NOT click “Yes, Generate My Code”. Go back and re-check your matric number. If the wrong details keep appearing, contact support immediately so your record can be corrected before you register.
I lost my registration code. Can I get it again?
Yes. Simply verify your matric number again and confirm your details — the same code attached to your record will be shown to you again.
Can someone else use my code?
No. Each code is tied to one matric number and will only work for that student's registration. Still, keep your code private.
The portal says my code is invalid.
Make sure you selected the correct school from the dropdown first — the code only works for your school. Then enter the code exactly as shown, with no extra spaces (copy-paste is safest; capital and small letters matter). If it still fails, contact support with your matric number and a screenshot of your code.
